Arts Fest
Palakkad is a treasure trove of artistic, cultural and other aesthetic endeavours and achievements. Palakkad has got a living heritage of classical performing arts, folk performing arts and other audiovisual forms of entertainment. Palakkad Pravasi Centre is committed to acquaint these cultural assets to the Pravasi community, especially the young generation, and to promote these assets as much as possible through its activities.

Cultural Programs
Our native place has a great share in the formation of our culture. Palakkad Pravasi Centre is coming forward with unique action formulas to protect and promote the cultural heritage and historic wealth of Palakkad. There will be a multi-purpose centre for art and culture in the heart of Palakkad, to plan, coordinate, propagate and organize the all-pervading and all-embracing activities aimed at the artistic, social, cultural and economic well-being and welfare of the Pravasi community abroad and their families here.

Sports
We know that health is the greatest wealth for all and will make all efforts to encourage competitive sports and games, including Yoga, Kalari, collective dance forms of regular exercise, etc among the Pravasee Community, especially the young generation, so that the spirit of a healthy life-style may be inculcated among them from the very young age. Palakkad District has achieved a lot in the field of sports and games, in spite of limited facilities and resources. Palakkad Pravasi Centre is committed to the total development of sports by discovering and supporting emerging talents, working in coordination with like-minded organisations and institutions including the District Sports Council.

Literature & Library
We cannot communicate and propagate our cultural and literary initiatives without closer and deeper knowledge of our literary legacy. Therefore, we are starting a book collection campaign to start a library that will mirror the whole spectrum of our literary heritage and that we all will be proud of.

Family Welfare
We will be starting welfare schemes for the physical and social wellness of all migrants abroad and their whole families here. One of the initial goals of the Centre is to introduce and acquaint the members with the schemes and projects of the Central and State Governments for the welfare of the Pravasi Community so that all may benefit from those schemes in time.
ONGOING INITIATIVES
- Rehabilitation of NRIs returning to Palakkad in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak globally
- Arrangements in place to fast track consultation with specified Specialist Doctors and Lab investigations at home, for PPC Members, in Palakkad District
- A dedicated Helpline PPC team working at Palakkad and abroad to extend support to our members on difficult situations
